Ellyla is a British accessories brand built around a love of beautiful leather, traditional craftsmanship and considered design.

Founded in 2019, Ellyla was created with a simple idea: to make beautifully handcrafted leather bags that feel special, without the traditional luxury mark-up.

Our collections are designed in Britain and brought to life in India by skilled artisans using traditional handweaving techniques. We work directly with our artisan partners, building long-standing relationships that allow us to combine generations of craftsmanship with contemporary, wearable design.

MADE BY HAND

Every Ellyla bag begins with the hands of an artisan.

Our signature woven leather is created using traditional techniques rather than mass-production methods. The leather is carefully cut and woven by hand, giving each piece its own subtle character.

We use chrome-free, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather, selected for its exceptional softness, durability and natural beauty. Over time, the leather develops further character, creating a bag that becomes increasingly individual with wear.

THOUGHTFUL BY DESIGN

We believe good design should be beautiful, functional and made to be enjoyed for years.

Rather than producing huge quantities, we work in considered batches and focus on shapes that transcend a single season. Many of our pieces are produced in small quantities, which means popular colours and styles can sell out quickly.This more considered approach allows us to stay close to our makers, our materials and every collection we create.
